Elm Street Wiki

A Nightmare on Elm Street: Original Motion Picture Soundtrack (Full title: Wes Craven's A Nightmare on Elm Street: Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) is the film score for the first A Nightmare on Elm Street film. It was composed by Charles Bernstein and released in 1984 under American record label Varèse Sarabande. In 2015, the label rereleased the film score in an 8-CD disc box for the soundtracks of the franchise, though the 2010 remake was removed. A year later, the label it was re-released in the 12-CD box Little Box of Horror

In 2017, now under label Death Waltz Recording Company, the film score along with the soundtracks of the first seven films were re-released in another 8-CD box titled A Nightmare on Elm Street: Box of Souls. On that same year and much later in 2019, two standalone extended versions with many snippets that were left were released as well.
