The song is sung by three girls jumping rope, one of them being Freddy's daughter Maggie. It pretty much sums up what to do if Freddy decides you would be a good target. Lock your door, grab your crucifix, stay up late, never sleep again. By doing all of those things, you have a chance of surviving Freddy's rage.
