I can honestly say I am mildly confused about the status of this wikia. It says it is up for adoption but it also has an admin Ablade listed. I'm the admin of another wikia about "Tales from the Darkside." That show and "A Nightmare on Elm Street" were my biggest obsessions as I was growing up in the 1980's. This wikia gets a lot of edits, but doesn't seem to get constant administrative attention.
This wikia has a lot of grammatical issues. In many posts, the plot descriptions routinely change from present tense to past tense. It is riddled with awkward runon sentences and is difficult to read in places. I'd like to go through the pages and make the language more readable. Also, I feel that I could help flesh out the plots of the movie and keep an eye on all of the edits to make sure that the reading will flow. I think it can also use guidelines as to what tense should be used.
If the wikia is truly available for adoption, I am putting a request in for it. I'm not trying to take it from Ablade in case the adoption advertisement is incorrect. However, I would like to work to make this wikia more complete. It can use more comprehensive information on the movies and people involved and complete episode listings for "Freddy's Nightmares." I would like to give it the attention it deserves.
